Newsletters

These newsletters are produced to inform family about the findings of our research. They are sent out at irregular intervals, but so far we have produced issues at approximately six-monthly intervals.

The newsletters are:

  1. May 27, 2007:
    Contents: Intro, Mary Wilson - an introduction; The Rogers - a short summary; The Geyers - a short summary; Geyer Research Problems - trying to put things together; Current Activities; Future Plans; Photographs - putting together a CD; Where was Dolo change station - a clipping from the Barrier Miner; Ancestors of Alexander GEYER - a pedigree chart.
  2. Nov 22, 2007:
    Contents: New Contacts - Gloria Lumley, Les van der Sluys, Chris Le May, Gwen Ford; Rogers' ship - still not identified; A visit to Old Tintinallogy - photos & descriptions from Mary's trip; Johanna Henrietta GEYER - a brief biography; Photographs - an update on the CD; Books - listing family mentions; Current Activities - an update; Ancestors of Heinrich Christian GEYER - a pedigree chart.
  3. Mar 31, 2008:
    Contents: Research Progress - new contacts and developments; from Last time - some corrections; Miner to Photographer - a look at the work activities of Heinrich GEYER Snr including some of his photographs; Finding Old Tintinallogy - a brief description of the location and some history of the settlement; Books - listing family mentions; Current Family Happenings - a little news; 1885 map of the Tintinallogy Run.
  4. Jul 12, 2008:
    Contents: Research Progress - new contacts and developments; from Last time - more info to hand, a note on 'Brummagem' and a correction; Old Tintinallogy Burials - a listing of identified interments; Current Family Happenings - bereavements and recent activities (with photos); Tracking a Bushranger - Rutherford at Tintinallogy as an example of how we chase down this information; Are they our Geyers - some names you might recognise; Finally a website - advertising this site; Interviews - an upcoming prospect; Books - listing family mentions; 1885 map of the Teryawynia Run.
